Dutch design is all about simplicity. The handmade dolls and clothes are designed by the Dutch artist Dick Bruna. Miffy and her friends Boris and Melanie are very colourful. The children can change the outfits, it allows kids to act out different stories, which stimulates their cognitive development and feeds their imagination. The Miffy dolls are crocheted at different locations. Some women do the crocheting at home, enabling them to look after their families at the same time. We also have disabled people working at their care facilities. The fact that Miffy Handmade is creating jobs for more and more underprivileged people makes the product all the more special. Just Dutch uses a lovely, soft, pure-cotton yarn, which has the perfect thickness, really doing justice to the stitch, giving Miffy that authentic handcrafted look.
